There is no doubt that a successful and profitable business can feed many, but when it comes to the losses, all the consequences are to be faced by the main pillars of the company. This is not the point to get frightened for, in fact this is the point that must be kept in mind, by the founders, so that when they plan for something, they must be in a state of practicality. Any product or idea that you are planning to build must be analysed by keeping your eye at an upper view of the business process flows. Following are the few points that can help you to question and validate your idea:

• Why I am building this?
• If you get the answer, then find out that is it possible to create the product or services with existing resources?
• How many skills or what skills are required to initiate the building process.
• Am I capable alone to make this process happen or do I need someone skilled, trustworthy, loyal and serious for his/her own growth and for the growth of  the company?
• After getting sorted with the above points now ask yourself that who will use my product?
• Which category of people will use my product? (Affordability)
• Will my product fulfil the user need?
• Is the need ignorable or it is a burning problem of user?
• Is my solution already present in market? If yes, How many users are using that solution?
• How my product is different?
• Dry run of the product and eliminating the shortcomings.
• Finally After creating the final product? How much cost will be spent on marketing?
• What strategies do I have to follow to market my product?
• How much user base is already present with me that can help me go for organic marketing?
• How my product will perform on big scale? (Scalability)

See, when it comes to the world of IT, your industry experience and skills plays a very important role for getting a job. But, if you are starting up in the same domain then how can you call it a gap?

This fear can be easily eliminated if you keep your skills updated and refined with time, and also if you are starting up after 4 to 5 years of job experience, then it is a win win situation as you will come up with a refined personality and approach after working on bootstrapped business. So, go ahead and make you first move.
